ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

Sometimes due to deep decay, big fillings or a number of other reasons the nerve (or pulp) in the middle of a tooth can become inflamed or infected. This can be painful, but occasionally can occur without you even knowing. When this happens – in order to preserve the rest of the tooth – we can perform root canal treatment. This involves removing the damaged pulp, thoroughly cleaning the space inside the tooth and then placing a special type of filling into this space.
